In response to the 1 billion dollar Apple vs. Samsung lawsuit, I conducted research into the patenting of gestural interactions mainly in mobile touch devices. This simple comic was the execution of my research, I might upload or summarize my paper here soon, but either way I encourage you to educate yourself on the topic. We’re headed toward some sort of breaking point and it’s important to know where you stand.

Drake University’s mascot: Spike the Bulldog!

I’m working on recreating Drake University’s classic ‘Marching Bulldog’ mascot mark (attached). It’s been a favorite mark for well over half a century. I’m attempting to update it while holding on to some of its classic stylistic elements.
